EKF Diagnostics Holdings plc
The name EKF consists of the first three letters of the German words „development, construction and production” as the main business divisions. Founded 1990, the company extended continually and switched 1996 its headquarter to Barleben, near Magdeburg.
Therewith the EKF-diagnostic GmbH consequently proceeds its way to market leadership, started with the introduction of the first BIOSEN-devices for glucose and lactate analysis in the early 90ties. Based on a close and long-term cooperation, in 2004 the product line for glucose and lactate analyzers of the Eppendorf AG, Hamburg was taken over additionally. With the current BIOSEN C_line and S_line analyzers a worldwide established device series on the highest technology level is offered.
Very popular as well, the Hemo_Control and Hemo_Speed photometer series fits to the demands of blood donor centres, GPs and small labs. With specially designed microcuvettes a new standard for the determination of hemoglobin and hematocrit is established. Intelligent connectivity- and software options complete this product range featured to fulfil the growing needs in data management.
All products correspond to the CE norm, are registered in many countries according the specific local requirements and certified in Germany with EN ISO 13485. A broad cooperation network with leading international manufacturers and industry partners ensures a high compatibility to 3rd party equipment.
